Welcome to the new Globe Miami TImes site which is being developed on WORDPRESS. You’ll notice we mention this platform often and we are using it for our new social networking site as well @ Globe Miami Commons. It’s because we think it is absolutely the best! It is elegant, user friendly and scalable, meaning it will grow with our needs – and yours.
This new site combines our older wordpress site: GMTnewsnviews and all of our featured content in the Times over the last five years. By posting these featured articles in individual posts with their own tags, you will beable to search and find any feature article without having to pull up the entire PDF and go through the whole document. It will make it easy to share the stories you love with your friends through all the social network sites, and easier to archive and search in the future.
The site is still being designed, but we felt it was useful enough at this point to let it go live. It doesn’t have all the graphics, photo galleries and navigation which will be a part of the site within the next 30 days….but it does give you a feel for where we are headed.
